Welcome to The Pawsome K9 where you will find Trailing, Canine Coaching, Teaching, Mindfulness, Scent-work and Relaxation activities for you and your K9 to help you to understand your dog’s behaviour and to live happily together.
It’s about making a connection of trust and love and allowing your dog to BE a dog, safely and positively (you won’t find any aversive training methods here – only proven research based natural ways).
I’m Jo and I’ve worked as an Holistic Care Practitioner for pets and their people since 2011. I am a Canine Coach, Canine Flow Practitioner, Mantrailing Instructor, Tracking & Trailing Instructor and have studied Natural Canine Nutrition, Canine Communication and Behaviour, Puppy Training, Dog Training, Mindfulness and Meditation for pets and their people – all of which were inspired by my German Shepherd Dog “Mouse” who from 2009 until September 2021 was our Pawsome K9. His legacy goes on with all the dogs and their people we meet, and with our trainee Pawsome K9 “Pixie” who joined the team in September 2021.
I run Courses, Workshops, 1-2-1 sessions, Retreats and Classes. Activities to help you to connect with your dog and BE pawsome together.

I am a Scent Imprint for Dogs (SIFD) Trailing & Tracking Level 1&2 Instructor, an Accredited Mantrailing Global Instructor and Assessor, a United Canine Scentsport (UCS) Instructor & Assessor – Trailing and Scentwork – and an addict for knowledge in all things K9 scent related, all regularly validated and updated by training with my own dogs (CPD).
My dog training and behaviour certificates were obtained with COAPE and IMDT and keep up to date with the latest training and research. All of which goes into my coaching and instruction.
